Throughout the time we’ve been talking and talking about the Dell Studio 17, but we didn’t make a review on the Dell Studio 17 with touch and this is how we’ve decided to realize one in order for you to make a general idea and see if this gadget suits you or not.
We start with mentioning that these gadgets have a starting price around $850 depending on their configuration. You can choose between several configurations and accordingly to this you can have a price or another. We start with the basics: you can choose between the newest processors from Intel, the Intel Core i3, i5 or i7.
The basic operating system variant suggested for you is the Windows 7 Home Premium one and you can be sure that you won’t have any problems when it comes to using it.
The display size is 17.3” HD+ and it has backlit proprieties, let’s mention also that it has TrueLife, Camera and MultiTouch as features. With a single tap you can get the web at your feet and you won’t have any unknown things….
When it comes to the optical drive there’s an 8x slot load, for CD or DVD burner, the dual layer DVD+/-R drive. This means that you can burn as many CDs or DVDs as you wish and you surely will have where to store all the information.
The memory can vary between 3 GB and 4 GB; both of these types are Shared Dual Channel DDR3 at 1066 MHz or 1333 MHz; the hard drive has 250GB, 320GB or 500GB SATA, so these are the numbers that you can choose from.
When it comes to the video card, there’s the Intel HD graphics or 1 GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 for the variant with the Intel Core i7 processor.

The wireless networking? It’s the Dell 1501 Wireless-N and the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6200 from where you can choose from.
The battery life of this gadget is very resistant and it can get up to 6 hours, thing that means that you can carry it very easily all around the places you intend on going and that it won’t let you down at all. As you can observe there are only great things about this laptop with touch, its starting price can vary from a configuration to another: $850, $950, $1,050 and $1,350. And another thing that we’ve forgotten to mention about is the fact that all these configurations refer to new laptops.
